Who We Are:
Founded by Frank Levy and Rabbi Rami Shapiro One River Foundation is a global community of spiritually independent seekers and holy rascals promoting the four-fold truth of Perennial Wisdom found at the mystic heart of all religion:
- All life is a manifesting of nondual Aliveness called by many names: Mother, YHVH, Allah, Tao, Brahman, Nature, God, and others.
- You have the innate capacity to awaken in, with, and as Aliveness.
- Awakening as Aliveness calls you to be a blessing to all the families of the earth, human and otherwise.
- Awakening as Aliveness and being a blessing comprise your highest calling as a human being.
What We Do:
One River Foundation sponsors three programs: One River Wisdom School, Explore Spirituality, and Ask Rabbi Rami:
One River Wisdom School offers online and in-person seminars and retreats. We currently offer four programs scheduled for 2024: One Foot Judaism, a radical revisioning of Judaism, and Perennial Wisdom, a deep dive into the mystic heart of the world’s religions, Days of Awe for the World – a mystical reimagining of the Jewish High Holy Days – Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, and the National Be a Blessing Day online breakfast. Explore Spirituality (formerly Spirituality & Health podcast with Rabbi Rami) is our bi-weekly podcast tailored for free thinkers and the spiritually independent. Hosted by Rabbi Rami, Explore Spirituality blends interviews with leading thinkers investigating the cutting edge of human consciousness and civilization, with listener’s questions left on our Caller’s Line. Explore Spirituality is produced by Ezra Bakker Trupiano, and our executive producer is Frank Levy. To subscribe to the podcast and record questions for Rami and his guests click HERE.
Our bi-weekly one-page newsletter, Ask Rabbi Rami, features questions sent to us by our students, podcast listeners, and the spiritually curious. Rami responds to one question per newsletter not so much to answer your question, but to invite you to think more deeply about it. To subscribe to Ask Rabbi Rami click HERE.
One River Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)3 educational organization. To support our teaching and outreach, please register for our online seminars, in-person retreats, subscribe to our podcast and newsletter, and donate what you can to help keep One River financially secure.
